Trinidad Bay ASBS Water Quality Monitoring
Trinidad Bay water quality and conditions are monitored by CenCOOS, the Central and Northern California Ocean Observing System. Realtime data including temperature, salinity, chlorophyll, turbidity, dissolved oxygen and sensor depth (tide) are reported at the CenCOOS Trinidad Shore Station webpage at the following link:

The following ASBS water quality reports present the results of water quality monitoring conducted from 2011 – 2014 by the City of Trinidad, the HSU Marine Lab, and other members of the Northern California Regional Monitoring Group. These reports were developed by the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project (SCCWRP) and funded by the State Water Resources Control Board.
